Opened in 2014, Soph’s award winning Barbershop is located in the picturesque village of Llanbedr, North Wales. With 9 years’ experience, we are dedicated to giving customers an enjoyable experience in a relaxed and refined atmosphere, whilst focussing on high quality cuts, trims and shaves.
Founder, Sophie Collins, was the first ever woman to enter the male dominated “Britain’s Best Shave” contest. Not only has she made it to the final, three years in a row, her exceptional skills ensured that she was crowned “The best wet shaving barber” in Wales in 2017 and 2018, after wowing the judges with her Hot Towel Shave. Our unconventional barbershop has also been a finalist of “Welsh Hair & Beauty Awards” for “Barbershop of the Year 2018” and “NHF Barber of the Year 2019”.
Previously a proud ambassador for the male grooming company, Bluebeards Revenge, Sophie used her barbering expertise to help develop male grooming products. This experience led to the creation of the new Soph’s Barbershop range of products, including luxurious wet shaving products, beard oils, haircare, skincare and aftershaves. So not only will you receive the best after-care advice, you can also maintain your style and care routine at home, with a range of high-quality products.
